A SEAFRONT cafe in Worthing has been granted a licence to sell alcohol seven days a week – but only when toilets have been installed.
The application by Coast cafe to sell booze from 9am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday, had caused concern among people who rent nearby chalets, who told the Gazette it was a family area and should remain that way. But Worthing Borough Council's licensing officer Simon Jones said no alcohol would be sold until toilets had been fitted.


Mr Jones said the council required venues with seating for up to 100 people that one men's WC and sink and one urinal should be provided, as well two female WCs and a sink.
