Greenfield to Eco sprawl?

THIS is what a proposed eco-town at Ford would be like if the development went ahead, says Communities Against Ford Eco-Town (CAFE).
The campaigners superimposed the image of buildings on land – currently mainly greenfield – earmarked for possible development by the Ford Airfield Vision Group.
CAFE co-chairman Terry knott said: "This picture, which we have had specially drawn up for us, indicates the enormity of the proposed Ford eco-town and the way it will swallow up countryside and neighbouring villages."
Campaigners fighting the eco-town proposal will lobby Parliament on Monday.
Around 50 campaigners from Communities Against Ford Eco-Town (CAFE) will make the journey to London to make their views known on the proposal to build at least 5,000 houses on mainly greenfield land.
