TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of smuggling cocaine worth nearly £1m through Gatwick Airport.
The major haul saw 24kg of the class A drug seized by officers from the UK Border Agency last Thursday.

It was concealed in luggage and valued at around £960,000, although this would have doubled or even trebled once 'cut' by drug dealers.

A man and a woman were arrested. The couple had arrived on a flight from St Lucia.
