BACK home for a few days last week after a tour of duty in Afghanistan alongside Prince Harry was Storrington soldier Tom Greene (19).
Tom is based with the Household Cavalry at Windsor. He is a member of the Blues and Royals section, and along with comrades including Prince Harry who served in Afghanistan over winter, he received his campaign medal from the Princess Royal on May 5.

Prince Harry's aunt made the presentations in her capacity as Colonel of the Blues and Royals and afterwards the soldiers paraded from the Combermere Barracks through the streets of Windsor to Garrison Church.

Tom, whose mother, Pauline, and stepfather, Paul Mitchell, live in Church Street, Storrington, went to school at Storrington First School and Seaford College at Petworth and spent four years at school in France.
