BOTH Sussex Police Authority and West Sussex County Council have millions deposited in the UK arm of one of Iceland's collapsed banks.
Sussex Police Authority has £6.8 million in Heritable, a UK based subsidiary of Landsbanki, where accounts have been frozen, and West Sussex County Council has £12.9 million also with Heritable.

Both have said that delay in repayment of the deposits or even their loss will not have any impact on day to day services.
