A builder has made a model of the Titanic entirely out of matchsticks- a project that took more than a decade to complete.
Tim Elkins(35) of Salvington Road, Durrington, spent 15 yeares, on and off, creating the model, which is made out of £147,000 matchsticks and is almost 8ft long.

The unique creation is 1.115 in scale and Mr Elkins said he had tried to make it as accurate as possible.

He finished the model around four weeks ago and has sold it to Ripley's Believe It or Not for £8,300.
