Woman dies after falling from Shoreham flyover

A WOMAN has died after falling from the A27 flyover at Shoreham this morning (Friday).
Just before 5am a motorist called police to say he had seen what appeared to be a body by the side of the road.


On arriving at the scene officers found a woman who was alive, but seriously injured.


Police say it appears that she had fallen from Mill Hill bridge. The woman was taken to Worthing Hospital, but died shortly afterwards. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.


The westbound carriageway of the A27 was closed for about two and a half hours, causing traffic disruption
