ART and Design tutors from Hastings College are exhibiting their work over the coming months in both the UK and Europe.
Ashley Hemingway, Martin Symons, Jeb Haward, Tony Bennett, Patrick Jones and Alastair Knights all work within the Art and Design faculty which received the highest possible grade from Ofsted inspectors recently.

Ashley specialises in contemporary jewellery and is part of an exhibition at Hove Gallery between November and January. Her work is also featured within a recently published book, "Adorn".

Head of Department Martin is showing a collection of his drawings at the Bargate Monument Gallery in Southampton between November and December.

Jeb and Patrick are both exhibiting in Paris soon with their own drawings, while Tony and Alastair are part of a four week exhibition at the Eastern Rooms in Rye Art Gallery during October and November.

Said Martin: "It is great to be part of such a dynamic and respected team of professionals.

"The grade one from Ofsted was recognition of the hard work of the whole department and it is something that students are proud of too."

Any prospective art and design students interested in joining the department at Hastings College should call 01424 442222.
