Fifth man arrested over alleged kidnapping

A fifth man was arrested this morning (Wednesday) in connection with an alleged kidnapping in St Leonards on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and is being quizzed by police.

Four men were this week charged with robbery relating to the incident in Cumberland Gardens.

They are Matthew Orton, 29, from Brookland, Romney Marsh, Kent, Philip O'Brien, 23, of North Street, St Leonards, his brother Lee O'Brien, 22, of the Fox pub, North Street, and Nathaniel Billings, 23, of Knights Meadow, Battle.
