Hastings Week opens in style

Hastings Week got underway in style today with an opening ceremony.
A procession snaked through the town and a small part proceeded to Hastings Castle to raise Gonfalon, the flag of William the Conqueror

Elsewhere on the Stade, motors were on display in a classic car show during the day.

A host of activities have been lined up throughout this week.
