Heather Mills has landed herself in hot water with local planners after allegedly splashing out on a swimming pool without planning permission at her Robertsbridge home.
Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife, 40, is believed to have started work on the pool in the grounds of her country estate in Brightling Road.
Planners spotted the alleged 'unauthorised development' while visiting Heather's £3million mansion to see if she had taken down a marquee left up without permission.
She was threatened with court action after failing to take down the 130ft x 70ft tent which attracted noise complaints from neighbours.
A Rother District Council spokesman said: "The marquee appears to have been dismantled.
"A further on-site inspection will be made in the near future to ensure that it has been completely removed from the site.
"Apparently there is a swimming pool and we have invited a planning application for it. This will then be considered in accordance with the normal planning process.
"If an application is not received within the next month then a report will be prepared for the council's planning committee at which time consideration will be given to taking appropriate enforcement action against any unauthorised development."
