Youngsters at West Hill Kyokushinkai Karate club have taken part in a four and a half hour fighting marathon for cancer research.

James Bacon from the club said: "The session was hard, surprisingly fun and rewarding.

"We also took part in a demonstration at St Pauls school, to display the mixture of talents our members possess and everyone did a terrific job at representing our style of karate."

The club is holding a beginners course throughout July for juniors on Saturday mornings from 9am-11am, and seniors on Monday evenings from 7.30pm-9.30pm). For more information please go to www.westhill-karate.co.uk .
