St Leonards motorbike crash victim named

A St Leonards man, who was killed in a motorbike accident in Westfield, has been named.
Police have named the dead man as Michael Plumley of Pevensey Road.

The 45-year-old died at the scene of the accident in Moor Lane, Westfield, just before 1pm on Saturday.

A 76-year-old woman driver, who was also involved in the collision, was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Sussex Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to contact the Road Policing Unit at Polegate on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Frigate.
