Dead body found at Gatwick

A DEAD body was found in the undercarriage of an aircraft at Gatwick Airport yesterday (Thursday, June 2).
Engineers discovered the body during routine safety checks.

It was in the undercarriage of the Ghana Airlines flight GU101 from Accra landed at about 7am on Thursday (July 3).

The incident caused no disruption to services.

A BAA spokeswoman said the matter had been passed to police.
