Fantastic historic cars made the journey to France in an inaugural rally.
Twelve cars from the Ringmer Multi Marques club set out from the Anchor Inn in Ringmer on Friday and drove to Estrelles, near Agincourt.

Despite the fact some of the cars dated back to the 1920s and 30s they all completed the 300-mile round journey without a hitch.

The trip was organised with the help of the Mayor of Estrelle and members of the club delighted in taking local children for a spin around the village.

Jim Stock, a member of Ringmer Multi Marques, said: 'It was absolutely superb.

'It was greatly appreciated by the French and they've invited us back.

'We are thinking of making the next rally a charitable event and if that happens we'll pick a local charity to support.'
