Man airlifted after serious crash

A MAN was airlifted to hospital for emergency surgery after a crash yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the serious collision between a Ford Escort and a Ford Mondeo at about 3pm on September 2.

The crash happened on the A275 at South Chailey, near to the Wickham Lane junction.

The driver of the Escort suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital for.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or the driving prior to the accident to contact them on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Op Gunton.
