GARDEN lovers are invited to join an evening stroll around Summerleas garden, in Peartree Lane, to help raise money for St Michael's Hospice.
Landscaped in 2007, this mature garden provides summer colour and beautiful views towards Herstmonceux. The event, on Tuesday, 7 July, is hosted by Helene and Michael Saxby, owners of the property.

Open between 6.30pm-9pm, the garden can be found on Peartree Lane between Highwoods and the A269 Ninfield Road. Parking is available, and there is disabled access.

The £10 ticket includes a glass of sparkling wine, courtesy of Carr Taylor Wines in Westfield, a selection of canapés and musical entertainment provided by the East Sussex Music Service.

Tickets are available from the Hospice Open Gardens or by calling the Open Gardens office on 01424 456369.

Full details of all the gardens opening for the Hospice this summer can be found in the Open Garden booklet on sale at many outlets, including all the Hospice shops in Bexhill, Hastings, Battle and Rye. The information is also available from the St Michael's Hospice website at www.stmichaelshospice.com
