Innkeepers Fayre's innovative Valentines promotion
They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and with Valentines Day fast approaching, customers at the Beech Hurst pub in Haywards Heath are being encouraged to use their unwanted discount vouchers to receive money off a romantic Valentines Day meal.
The innovative new 'Don't Trash 'Em, Cash 'Em' offer from Innkeeper's Fayre encourages customers to bring in unusual and unwanted discount vouchers of any description, regardless of value, to receive 8 off every 20 spent on food until February 28.
Some wacky vouchers have already been handed in, from gym memberships and televisions to hair extensions, Ann Summers lingerie and even plastic surgery.
Now customers in Haywards Heath are being challenged to up the ante in the search for the weirdest coupon, with prizes up for grabs for the strangest.
The person who redeems the most unusual voucher at each participating restaurant will receive a meal worth up to 50 and they will also be entered in to a national final with 500 worth of holiday vouchers up for grabs.
Arpita Anstey, senior marketing manager for Innkeeper's Fayre, said: "Customers have really been getting into the spirit of the promotion, and with Valentines Day approaching, it's the perfect opportunity to ditch the useless coupons that fill our purses and wallets and put them towards a Great British meal instead.
"Everyone knows the way to a man's heart is through his stomach; doing it without burning a hole in his pocket is sure to clinch the deal!"
The Don't Trash 'Em, Cash 'Em offer runs until February 28, and there is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be redeemed per person. The Beech Hurst offers a full pub dining experience.
