Windmills Junior School at Hassocks closed by burst water main

WINDMILLS JUNIOR SCHOOL in Hassocks is closed today (Thursday) because of a burst water main.

Engineers are working on the pipe in Dale Avenue but it will not be known until later today if the school will re-open for its 244 pupils on Friday.

Downlands Community School in Hassocks, which is also in Dale Avenue, is open as usual.
