History - Park Centre story

The University of The Third Age Yoga Teacher and her students, want to know why, the windows in The Yoga Room, at The Park Centre, are boarded up?

We want to know what the stage, in the yoga room, was used for? Also opposite the stage, is a small raised area, with a ladder, to climb onto a small stage. What was this used for? Could someone give us some history of The Park Centre, and what it was used for in year’s gone by?
