Letter: Information appreciated on prisoners of war

I AM a student at Sussex University undertaking a project about German prisoners of war in Mid Sussex during the Second World War.

The base camp was in Ardingly but it is very likely that the soldiers would have been labouring all over Mid Sussex. Do you have any memories of the prisoners, or remember what it was like to house the enemy here in Mid Sussex? Any information you can provide would be very much appreciated. Many Thanks
