Snow - Disappointed

I was extremely disappointed to see that yet again Heath Road , was closed due to Snow.

This seems to be normal every time it snows. I have written today to west Sussex County Council to ask them to include Heath Road as a priority gritting route when bad weather strikes.

Heath Road is an important thoroughfare for our town and also contains the Newtons Surgery and two Physiotherapy Centres as well as Elderly Peoples Residencies.

I know the County Council say it may not meet their criteria but surely it would demonstrate a degree of common sense to deal with this matter properly, not fall back

on technicalities. “SO Come On County Council Get Some GRIT On This Road, and add it to your priority gritting list.”

Any resident wanting to get this road added to the gritting list, please e-mail me in support at sujan@haywardsheath.gov.uk
