Station - Parking problems
Re Mr John Churcher’s Letter in last week’s Middy , I agree with his comments regarding the station area.
Foremost this is a transport hub for rail, bus and taxi users and people picking up and dropping off. These people need more parking space , not less, as the volume of traffic will increase. It should not become an overflow car park for a super market!
One final comment, has thought been given to how this reduced area will cope with up to a dozen buses, which are required several weekends a year, when
rail engineering works take place?
