The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's affiliation with the Hawth, Crawley, continues with a celebration of all things Russian on Saturday.
This thrilling programme of passionate and explosive masterpieces features Tchaikovsky's Italian-inspired masterpiece and the virtuosic Rococo Variations, performed by cellist Gautier Capuçon.

Borodin's extrovert, folk-inspired Polovtsian Dances (including the evergreen tune, later famous as the song Stranger in Paradise) and Mussorgsky's monumental Pictures at an Exhibition, culminating in the triumphant Great Gates of Kiev, concludes the programme. The concert starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale now from The Hawth, call 01293 553636. Free orchestral brochures can also be ordered via the box office.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will return to the Hawth on Saturday May 10 as part of The Hawth's 20th anniversary celebrations with a Best of British programme.
