At the recent Brighton and Hove Springboard Performing Arts Festival pupils from Drusilla Duffill Theatre School, in Burgess Hill, were highly successful, with two dancers winning prestigious awards.
Lucy Harman, 18, won The Bridget Espinosa Memorial Award for a scholarship to the London Studio Centre's summer course in Jazz dance.

In September Lucy will be continuing her studies at the Laban Contemporary Dance College in London.

Chloe Armstrong, 12, won the Olive Von Der Heyde Prize.

Vikki Harris, the school's principal, said she was proud of all her students who took part in the festival.
