Tributes have been paid to prolific children's illustrator and water colour artist Marjorie Louise Davies who has died aged 101.
Friends and relatives gathered in St Peter's Church, Chailey, Monday, December 10, to celebrate Marjorie's full and remarkable life.

The high regard she was held in stretched far beyond the boundaries of the village, for Marjorie was recognised in artistic and literary circles as one of the leading children's illustrators of her generation.

For a full tribute see Thursday's Mid Sussex Times.
