A CAR was destroyed in what is believed to have been an arson attack in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday, June 30)
Crews were called to Mill Pond Way at 1.30am, where a small Rover was engulfed in flames.

Jon Mays, station commander at East Preston Fire Station, said hose reels and breathing apparatus, as well as a hydrant, were used to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, though it is thought to be arson.
