AN ELDERLY woman was taken to hospital, when her car collided with a lorry at rush hour this morning (Thursday, July 10).
It happened at 8.20am, in Station Road, Rustington, at the junction with Park Drive, when the Peugeot 205 and a Verdant recycling truck crashed head-on.

The woman, in her 70s and from Rustington, was extricated from the car by firefighters from East Preston, before being taken by ambulance to hospital, with leg injuries.
