Workman rescued after falling from scaffolding

A DRAMATIC rescue operation was mounted yesterday (Tuesday, June 24), after a man collapsed while working on a house
The man, who is 51, fell from scaffolding attached to the first floor, of a house in Norfolk Road, Littlehampton, at 4pm.

He was treated by paramedics, before fire crews from Littlehampton and Worthing took him to ground level, on a basket stretcher.

Suffering injuries to his chest, legs and neck, and bruising to his head, he was taken to Worthing Hospital, in a stable condition.
