Elderly woman hurt in crash

AN ELDERLY woman was taken to hospital after the Vauxhall Corsa she was driving was in collision with a parked car in Rushams Road, Horsham, this afternoon (Saturday August 16).
Fire crews had to cut away the overturned vehicle to release the trapped, injured woman.
The incident happened at around 2.15pm. Traffic was diverted from the scene, outside Horsham Trinity Church, as the scene was cleared.
