Firefighters rush to washing machine fire

A WASHING machine went up in smoke in Partridge Green this morning (Wednesday September 3).
Fire crews from Partridge Green and Steyning were called to a flat at Tideys Mill just after 11am after a washing machine caught alight.
The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived but the machine was taken away for safety reasons.
