Horror at 'food fight' in Billingshurst

A BILLINGSHURST shop owner has spoken of his horror after youths staged a food fight in the village last night (Thursday September 4).

Peter Burdfield, from Burdfield's Country Market in the High Street, has claimed youths took fruit and vegetables from behind his shop to use in a food fight in the public car park.

Police have confirmed vegetables were thrown all over the car park in Billingshurst.

PCSO Adrian Bell has taken up the case.
