Police warning over 'cold callers'
Published Date:

POLICE are warning people not to deal with door to door traders offering to buy valuables.
Residents of Wantley Hill Estate, Henfield, phoned police on June 24.
A man had been asking locals if they had any gold jewellery they wanted to sell.
Police say he was aged in his 30s or early 40s, wearing jeans and a white T-shirt, and had receding brown hair.
PS Carolyn Kendall said their advice is not to do business with cold callers, and certainly not to let them in.
