Fish and chips with a good novel

Haywards Heath Library is holding a fish and chip quiz for teams of up to six people on Friday, January 25.

Contestants will be quizzed on the top-selling books from 2012 and will also get the chance to try the seaside-favourite from nearby fish and chip shops.

Library manager Roger Myall said: “We are looking forward to a fun evening with some testing questions and plenty of surprises.

“We will be serving a fish and chip supper as part of the evening and people are also welcome to bring a bottle.”

The quiz, which starts at 7pm, is open to everyone, including non-library members.

Tickets, which include food and drinks, cost £10 each and are available from the branch.
