£500 reward in Scout hut arson probe

A REWARD of £500 is being offered to find those responsible for starting a fire at the Scout hut in Burgess Hill.

The offence happened at around 10.20pm on Wednesday, June 25, at the 5th Burgess Hill Scout Hut in Gordon Road.

The Scouts now face a bill of more than £5,000 to repair the damage.

The £500 reward is being offered by Sussex Police for the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
