Driver hurt in Chailey crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a driver was badly injured in a crash on the A275 at South Chailey.
A Ford Escort and a Ford Mondeo collided near the Wickham Lane junction at about 3pm on Tuesday, September 2.
The Escort driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital for emergency surgery.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or the driving just before it happened to contact them on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Op Gunton.
