A CAR overturned after the driver lost control on a bend in Valebridge Road just before 11am today.

Paramedics and ambulance officers treated the driver of the Ford Ka at the scene just south of Jesters Close on Tuesday October 7.

The driver was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital suffering from neck pain.

Police officers redirected traffic away from the scene and said the road was expected to be closed for at least an hour.

The accident took place on a bend about 50 metres south of the viaduct.
