Golfers are urgently needed to support a fundraiser next week for a new charity for families living with cancer.
Rebecca Huggett, 21, of Western Road, Hurstpierpoint, and her father Paul, also of Western Road, need at least another ten players for the floodlit session on March 29 at Cuckfield Golf Centre.

The fees of £45 for the event will pay for a fish and chip supper and provide funds for their new charity Cancervive.

Rebeca lost her natural mother Pamela, 43, to breast cancer in 1994 when she was only seven.

Last year tragedy struck again when she lost her stepmother Bridget from the same disease.

25 players are lined up but Mr Huggett said on Tuesday: "We need a maximum of 40 and a minimum of 36 otherwise we've got to cancel it. This is our last push because we have only got until Sunday of this week to get the numbers up."

Anyone wanting to play or support the charity should contact 0845 4386418.
