There was a fine all-round show by Amanda Ridley as she carried Barcombe to a Mid Division victory at Ringmer, where she took 5-72 and made 86 out of a total of 154.
Adastra's Jenny Handley (6-16) destroyed the Wivelsfield batting for 66, while Plumpton's Diane Allcorn (5-33) sent Chailey pack for even less (57 all out).
Isfield made light work of an Adastra total of 144-5 as they completed a 10-wicket thanks to
an unbeaten 103 by Carla Leach, while Sharon King (100) and Susie Harrison (84) gave Ditchling a comfortable win despite an innings of 81 by Janet hughes for hosts Barcombe. win as Thursday June 4 (late result): Ringmer 111 bt Plumpton 78.
Tuesday June 9: Adastra 144-5 lost to Isfield 155-0 off 10 (Carla Leach 103no); Barcombe 199 (Janet Hughes 81) lost to Ditchling 212 (Sharon King 100, Susie Harrison 84); Plumpton v Wivelsfield pp; Wealden 76-1 bt Chailey 70-4.
Thursday June 11: Ditchling 129 drew against Wealden 129; Plumpton 91-4 off 12 bt Chailey 57 all out (Diane Allcorn 5-33); Ringmer 134 (Amanda Ridley 5-72) lost to Barcombe 154 (Ridley 86); Wivelsfield 66 all out (Jenny Handley 6-16) lost to Adastra 146-6 (Hilary Botting 66).
