Andy Westgate again came up trumps to enable Keymer & Hassocks to keep the pressure on Sussex Cricket League East Division leaders Seaford with a narrow three-wicket win in a low scoring game at home to Chiddingly. Westgate claimed 7-36 to dismiss the visitors for 128.
But it is looking bleak for Burgess Hill after they lost by six wickets at Hellingly. Chris Deare top scored with 52 in a Hill total of 202, with Justin Rosenburg taking 5-42 before Scott Pearce (76) helped make light of the target.
Lindfield won by
five wickets after bowling out visiting Crawley for 124 but Ansty were denied victory after piling up a massive 317-8 declared at Uckfield. Leo Anderson hit 104 before Uckfield replied with 177-8.
Billingshurst are hot favourites to win promotion from the West Division, where lowly Henfield moved level with Ifield after beating them by four wickets on their own patch.
