The hardball cricket team from Lindfield Primary School are off to the regional finals at Horsham CC on July 1 after lifting the Sussex title.
At the same venue on Friday eight schools battled for honours in the eight-a-side competition. Also taking part were Thomas a'Beckett, Little Common, Vale, Maidenbower, Harlands, Greenway and Orchards.
After some competitive matches in the group stages, Greenway beat Harlands and Lindfield beat Thomas a'Beckett in the semi-finals. In the final Lindfield beat Greenway by 30 runs.
Victory on Wednesday July 1 would take Lindfield through to the national finals later in the summer.
