Nicole Carter and Anjali Ramanan rowed for Warden Park in the Ball Cup held at Dorney Lake, where they competed in the semi finals against strong opposition.
Although the local pair got off to a bad a start, they managed to come in a creditable second just behind the highly regarded Sir William Perking Rowing School.
In the final, they finished third to Sir William Perkins and Cheltenham Ladies Rowing Club.
