County League pacesetters St Francis made it three wins out of three, with 10 goals for and none against as they cruised to a 4-0 victory at Worthing United on Saturday.
Despite missing several players and looking strangely tense, they had enough clearcut chances to have sealed victory in the opening 45 minutes.
But it was far from one-way traffic and the hosts, without a win in their opening three matches, gave the Rangers defence plenty to think about.
The only goal of the first 45 minutes came on the half hour when from a three-on-one break, Chris Maynard at last managed to provide a cool finish.
In the second half Sam Jeremiah scored two carbon copy goals, the first on 59 minutes and then five minutes from time, while in between Jake Forward set up Geoff Pitcher for a simple tap-in.
In the end it could have been even more comfortable.
