Police are offering a reward of £1,000 in a bid to find a man in connection with burglaries.

Police want to interview 38-year-old Simon Peter Knights about four burglaries and one attempted burglary, a Sussex Police statement has said.

One burglary was during the day in Park Road, Burgess Hill, on Thursday June 19, others were in Barnham during the day on Monday (June 16).

In the Burgess Hill burglary several hundreds of pounds worth of jewellery was taken.

Police said Knights is white, about 5’8”, and has ginger hair and blue eyes.

Officers are making enquiries in East Sussex and in the Southend and Basildon areas of south Essex, where Knights is known to have connections.

Police said the reward is offered subject to arrest and conviction for one or more of the offences.
