A WOMAN was taken to St Richard's hospital this morning (Wednesday, September 3) after her car crashed with another vehicle on the A29 at Slindon.
The two cars were in collision between the Fontwell roundabout junction with the A27 and the junction with the B2132 at Slindon Common, just after 7am.

The road was closed causing disruption to motorists in the northbound direction between the two junctions, whilst the woman was cut free from her car by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews using heavy rescue equipment.

Three fire crews from Chichester and Arundel attended the scene and by 7.50am the cars and road had been made safe.
