Hundreds of children are hoping to have fun and raise money for charity when they take part in a family fun run next month.
The event takes place at Oaklands Park on Saturday, September 27 in aid of the Children's Trust, which provides help and support for children with multiple disabilities.

The event is being organised by Run For the Children, a national fitness sche
me which aims to get children and their families running together for a good cause.

Families will be running a 3km course and complimentary fruit and bottled water will be offered to those taking part as well as a booklet full of tips on how to stay healthy and active.

The event takes place at 2pm and families are also encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy after all their hard work.
