Witness appeal after taxi driver seriously injured on A27 at Chichester

A TAXI driver suffered serious injuries in a crash on the westbound A27 late last night (Tuesday, September 2).
The accident between a green Skoda Octavia and a silver Ford Tourneo Transit taxi happened at 11.55pm at the junction with Oving Road.

Both drivers, the sole occupants of the vehicles, were taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester for treatmen
t.

Road policing officers in Chichester are investigating the incident and appealing for witnesses to either the collision itself or who saw either vehicle before it to contact them.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Sergeant Stewart Goodwin at West Downs Policing Unit on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Caltra.
