FLOWER CLUB - The July meeting is with Pat MacDonald with the very curious title “Offcuts, Overs, and Stumps.” This will be held on Friday 31 July in the Parish Rooms at 7.30-8.00 p.m. The meetings are social events as well as flowers - there is no rule to say that you have to be a flower arranger - just like flowers. If you would like to learn more about the club then come along as a guest (£4) and enjoy a relaxing time.

BALCOMBE BOWLS CLUB – Saturday Balcombe 78: Barcombe 39. Sunday match was cancelled due to the rain.

HIGH STREET CLOSED – to enable new road studs to be fitted after surface dressing the High Street will be closed between 27 July until 2 August.

BALCOMBE SCOUTS - At the time of writing the planning application process has started to seek permission for a new Scout Hut to replace the old dilapidated prefab behind the log cabin. The group are seeking to put a replacement prefab in which will bring much needed additional usable space to the group. With Cubs, Beavers and Scouts over-subscribed they really need this new safe space in addition to the lovely old cabin. The Group needs a new Cub & Beaver Leader so please call Mike Stevenson on 811676 for Cubs or Anthea Bell for Beavers on 811189 if you are interested in helping out.
