Village Day: Saturday July 2 on Batchelors Field, The Street. Theme this year Movies. 1.30pm fancy dress entrants meet at the Eight Bells and parade to Batchelor’s Field ready for judging at 2pm. There are three categories age 7 and under, 8 and over and groups. There will be many stalls and sideshows during the afternoon and various demonstrations from Super Circuits, ballet from the Ann Giliberti School of Dance, 2.45pm Bolney repsonder’s de-fib demonstration, 3pm Open Mic, 3.15pm fun family dog show and much more. In the evening 6.30pm - 10.30pm there will be barn dance with hog roast. Tickets £5.00 adults, £2.00 children under 16 (if purchased before the day) £7.00 adults, £3.00 children under 16 (under 3s free) purchased on the day. Hog roast (or vegetarian option) £6.00 or £7.50 to include dessert (dessert purchased on the night £3.00). Please take along your own chairs, a limited number of tables will be available. Tickets for the barn dance are available from Bolney School, Eight Bells or Batchelor’s Field Cafe.
