A boy has been jailed after pleading guilty to two burglaries including one at a home in Haywards Heath.

The 17-year-old, from London, pleaded guilty to a break-in in Queens Road on April 27 and another in Camden, London, earlier that month.

He has been jailed for eight months.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on September 3 and was sentenced on November 12.

He also received a 12 month conditional discharge for shoplifting and threatening abusive behaviour in East Grinstead in April 2014.
